I create expressive seascape paintings from my studio at home, drawn to the coastal, wild places of Devon, Cornwall, Somerset and Dorset. Using mainly oil paint and natural pigments, my work connects directly to the natural world. Intuitive mark-making and emotional responses inform the creation of my paintings.

Studying an MA in Fine Art at Falmouth University has refined and focused my practice, allowing for the development of an expressive, unique style rooted in the experience of the sublime and the ocean. I work primarily by walking in the coastal locations around me and then responding back in the studio, using photographs and memory to guide me.

As well as selling my own designs I also take commissions, collaborating with clients in order to create perfect complimentary seascapes for the home.
